We’re proud to announce that HTMS has been selected to join the prestigious Mobilise Programme, delivered by Advanced Propulsion Centre UK and Zenzic, as part of the UK Government’s £2.5 billion DRIVE35 initiative.

Mobilise is an 18-month innovation accelerator supporting the UK’s most forward-thinking clean mobility companies—designed to keep Britain at the forefront of zero-emission vehicle technologies and automotive leadership.

As part of the programme, HTMS will:

- Accelerate development of our revolutionary Ceramic Composite EV battery enclosure system
- Receive expert mentoring, funding, and technical validation
- Further our mission to make EVs lighter, safer, and more cost-effective—all using a UK-focused supply chain

This opportunity marks a pivotal milestone as we bring our next-generation high-temperature composite solutions to market and support a cleaner, greener automotive future.

HTMS wins spot on Mobilise accelerator programme

We're delighted to announce that we've been invited to exhibit at the 14th edition of Plug and Play's flagship expo event, Startup Autobahn in Stuttgart on the 5th June.  

A big thank you to Plug and Play's CEO Saeed Amidi and team for the kind invitation, we look forward to showcasing our CMC technology and how it can be used in the Automotive industry to address real world thermal challenges being experienced in the sector.

Looking at the attendee's it really will be a 'Who's Who' of the European automotive world as expo2025 brings together OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, startups, investors, and public officials—the key players who shape the future of mobility and develop practical strategies.

HTMS to exhibit at Plug and Play's Startup Autobahn expo2025

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Scotty Whitelaw as our new Engineering Lead at HTMS. Scotty will be instrumental in supporting our existing engineering team as we advance our Ceramic Matrix Composite (CMC) system, with a particular focus on automotive applications.

With over a decade of experience in the composites industry, Scotty brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise across various sectors, including aerospace, commercial vehicles, and motorsport. His diverse background and innovative approach make him a valuable addition to our team.

Scotty's journey began at the University of Hertfordshire, where he studied Motorsport Technology. This academic foundation paved the way for a career dedicated to the development of advanced composite materials. His experience encompasses wet lay compression moulding, autoclaving, and the creation of high-performance composite structures for manufacturing.

Throughout his career, Scotty has been involved in pioneering projects in aerospace and motorsport, applying his expertise to enhance material performance in challenging environments. His work in commercial vehicles has further broadened his skill set, ensuring that composite innovations are both durable and commercially viable.

As part of the HTMS team, Scotty will continue to drive advancements in composite technology, leveraging his extensive experience to push the boundaries of high-temperature, lightweight, high-strength materials. We are excited to see the impact he will make on our projects and the industry as a whole.

Scotty Whitelaw shared his enthusiasm for the new role: "I am excited to join HTMS Tech and work with such a talented team. I look forward to contributing to the development of innovative composite solutions that will drive the future of automotive technology."
